Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Information:
Optica Technologies Incorporated (“Optica”) products are designed to facilitate recycling, reuse and waste management. The products are labeled or stamped with the WEEE marking as shown below in accordance with European Standard EN 50419
Disposal Procedures Effective 12-1-2007:
Optica provides disposal/recycling services at its operations facility: 2051 Dogwood Street, Suite 130, Louisville, Colorado 80027.
Please contact Steve Dekker, Operations Manager, at 720-214-2800 x832 or [email protected] to recieve a return materials authorization (RMA) number for shipment of products to Optica.
Optica will not receive products which do not have RMA numbers.
Information for operators of treatment facilities:
In general re-use & recycling of WEEE products is preferable to disposal. If disposal is necessary then this should only be undertaken by an approved authorized treatment facility (“AATF”).
